I started Her Little Empire because I wanted more options, and so did every woman I knew.

More money of our own. More say over our time. More choices about what comes next. What we found online was mostly noise: income screenshots, "opportunities" that turned out to be recruiting, and advice that ignored the rules, the costs and the hours.

My background is a little different from most people selling business advice. I was called to the Bar of England and Wales, I have a Master's in Public Policy, and I've spent years working in policy and regulation. I don't practise law, I'm not admitted in Australia, and nothing here is legal advice. But I do know how to read the fine print, test a claim and find the actual source.

Alongside Her Little Empire, I run a clothing label, a software studio and a Shopify app, and I've published children's and colouring books. So I'm doing this alongside you, not just writing about it. You won't see income screenshots from any of them here: what helps you is the method, not my numbers.
